We had such a great experience today at Best Buy in West Hartford. We went in to purchase a camera and had some questions on a newly purchased TV. They were knowledgeable, friendly and gave some great input. I had a coupon for my camera and it wasn't working and the staff and managers did everything they could to get it to work and apologized for taking up our time. I would definitely recommend this location to others!
I got an email saying my phone was ready for pickup. I drove to the store excited to get my phone and was told they could not release it until tomorrow. I spoke with 4 people to confirm and to make sure there was nothing they could do for me. They directed me to call 1888BESTBUY. I called, they also could not help. Speaking with the rep on the phone she said this is a problem theyve been getting all day. I asked why no clarification email was sent out once they realized the issue, and she said basically, that's not her department and corporate is dragging their feet on that.
I visited West Hartford location and spoke with Joe and Jonah about appliances. Bought appliances and paid $3800. Delivery was scheduled for Tuesday and they failed it. It was rescheduled again on Wednesday and it was no show. No body called back/ no body emailed back. CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE and they transferred me to store and Joe didn't have guts to come over the phone and kept on telling his team members from background, we cancel the order. ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL.I am visiting Lowes tomorrow and buying everything from them. I am ELITE plus member and buy frequently from best buy and I guess they are good in selling items which are easy to ship. BIG items like appliances are for BIG guns, not for store like Best Buy. Taking my business somewhere else..!
Every time I have gone to this store the staff is usually very friendly and helpful. If someone doesn't know the answer they are quick to find someone that does. I enjoy shopping here and will be returning soon
From in store, to online help, all the way up to corporate, this was a solidly disappointing experience.
