I had to get fingerprints done for a job background check. I was greeted as I entered the door, and the staff that worked with me was pleasant and answered all of my questions with a smile and respect. Quick and knowledgeable.

A totally different feel then when I was a kid. Younger, professional, friendly, educated and experienced. I was an EMT for G+L Ambulance in the early 80's and town cops overall were generally descent. Not like the 70's, many old, grouchy, feeling bothered by people. I guess this would be true to all departments. Things have changed for the better and response times are very very short. 1-2 minutes is common. Very well staffed and not harassing. People should give them credit for an environment that has been less then supportive recently to men in blue.
