Stopped in around 5 and was greeted promptly and courtesouly. Our server Hannah was very friendly and explained the happy hour as it was our first visit. They had happy hour prices on 14 oz draft beers, specials on wines and select half priced appetizers. We split a cheese quesadilla, a roasted vegetable flat bread and the pretzels with 3 sauces. All good. The flatbread was my favorite. Will definitely return.
On our last visit the Guinness was awful and the brisket sliders were served cold. Burger was ok. festivus sangria was good.
Bar service is consistently bad - you always have to grab their attention when you can get it, they never ask you what you need. And they often forget.
A friend an I went to Bar Louie on 10/7/17. It was a horrible experience with the food. We both ordered well done burgers , they both came back pink. We showed our burgers to the waitress who re did our orders. My friend’s burger came back burned on the outside and pink in the middle. I changed my order to salmon burger sliders and the salmon was under done in the middle. We informed the manager who said he’d been receiving complaints all evening . We will never come back here ever again . The manager said he would check with the kitchen staff but never offered us as much as a discount for the drinks we ordered as an apology for undercooking our four dinner meals. Do yourself a favor & don’t eat here unless you’re a fan of undercooked meat and food poisoning.
I went a few nights ago with some friends and our server Vanessa was fantastic! She was such a doll and went above and beyond for us. I think the last time i was there she was our bartender and our drinks were amazing! Great service and personality!
I have no serious issues with this place, just a few minor ones. We went on a Sunday evening, and while the outdoor tables were full (there aren't many), the inside seemed mostly empty. We started with a soft pretzel appetizer. We thought it was taking a long time to come out, but realized it was just coming with our meals, so we were going back and forth between that and our food. The pretzel itself was okay, and they were out of one of the dipping sauces that unfortunately sounded pretty good, the other two were okay. I got the Philly Burger (mushrooms, onions, provolone), it was a bit overdone but overall just fine. I also tried a bite of the baked mac & cheese, which was also fine.
