The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Booked a minivan months in advance to be picked up at 9am got to the location and not a van on the lot. I was told it would be at least an hour wait for them to pick up the van at another location. Waited for over an hour to get into a dirty van. Upon my return I was charged a late fee and an extra day for a van I returned 4 hours earlier than I had booked the return for. The customer service at the corporate level is just as bad. I would have given 0 stars if I could. Will be sticking to Enterprise for any rental in the future.

Was in an accident never had to rent a car before but Jennifer and Victor made the process unbelievably easy. Both helped me through what I had to do and were able to pick me up from the collision center. Highly recommend coming here if you want a car rented you won't be disappointed.
I Forgot my insurance and car registration documents in the rental that I returned and 1hour later I called back and the assistance provided was horrible. No where to find those important documents holding my private informations and no where to reach the man in charge of servicing the vehicle ... I strongly recommend to create A LOST AND FOUND Box to make it a life on the earth for a customer bringing on hundreds of $$$ business to you instead of cheap talk about some ridiculous agreement discharging of any loss...
I cannot believe hertz would allow such horrible customer service we understand that this is a franchise and it can be hard to Maintain The same level of customer service at every location however this was the worst experience we have ever had with Hertz! The staff is not knowledgeable of the policies and procedures for renting vehicles and we were overcharged two days I do not recommend this location to anyone
otherwise Hertz West Hartford, Ct is still far better than most Rentals in Connecticut..
