This museum is surprisingly large and has quite a few unique exhibits. Both my 8 yo & my 11yo found lots of opportunities to be interested; they gravitate towards science activities. We easily spent 3 hours here. Because there were not a lot of patrons, it was relaxing for me as an adult.

Bunch of exhibits were broken it not functioning. Cool live animal exhibits. Gingerbread Lane during the holiday season was super impressive.

The Children's Museum is okay, but unfortunately it's pretty expensive. Even with a library pass it was $20 for admission for my 4-year-old and myself along with a planetarium show. We had an enjoyable afternoon and my daughter especially loved the Lego cars on the bottom floor and the color exhibit, but with so many great (and less expensive) places for young kids in the area, I doubt we will return. The Roaring Brook Nature Center is owned by the same organization and is one of our favorite places to visit on a nice day. It's also much more affordable!

The museum could use a bit of a face-lift (it has a 70's feel) and a food truck in the parking lot as there is no cafe, but there is a break room with vending machines.

It's a good place for children, however I just can't see why the parents have to pay, as well. I also like that they improved the little kids room, as before it was very cold in there. I remember visiting it a few years back and I never wanted to return.

Perfect place for children ages 7 and younger. Not to big to over whelm a child. Has a great butterfly garden in the summer time.

Overall, it's clean and interesting and worth a visit if you're looking for something to do with younger kids. If you live in the area, a membership is worth it for 2- 6 year olds.

It was a cool-ish day so the butterflies weren't active. The dinosaur exhibit was new, I think, but not that interesting. My favorites were the engineering space and the color space. Kids loved the animals and all the hands-on interaction.
