Update: they took care of us. First round of drinks and 4-5 tapas comped. Great food, questionable service. Three stars at best.
I've been here a few times for food and for the night life and I've had a great experience every time. The food is absolutely amazing and the staff is very friendly. On the weekend they usually have a good DJ playing a mix of top 40, hip hop, EBM and the dance floor is always packed. The drinks aren't too expensive which is always a plus. Come here for dinner or drinks and you won't be disappointed!
I absolutely love Barcelona! The food is always delicious but the staff and management is what makes this place unique. They truly don't say no, they do all they can to accommodate their customers. After having surgery all I was craving was Barcelona and when finding out where I was coming from, the team surprised me with a wonderful dessert. Such a delicious and fun restaurant!
This place was great! The food was excellent (try the octopus!) and the wait staff were very accommodating and polite. The food comes out really quick too. Excellent. I'll definitely be back for more.
We sat down 45 minutes late from our reservation. 60 minutes in and still no drinks served. Go order a pizza instead. Want tapas? Fly to freaking Spain.
Right at the very center of the West Hartford shopping and restaurant district, Barcelona is located on Farmington Avenue is the party place folks. Even the winter cannot stop us from visiting Barcelona, the outside patio has a radiant-heated floor and its retractable awning encloses the area allowing for the space to be utilized all year. West Hartford is a restaurant mecca for the center of Connecticut and Barcelona is the best choice ..... go for it folks! Cheers!
