I went once to celebrate with my wife a special event and had a blast. Good food, good wine, good terrace, decent prices. Italian dishes that we both enjoyed. Would go back.

I was quite pleased with everything that we had here yesterday. The lunch prices are decent for Blue Back and the portions are perfect. The funghi pizza was a good, the grilled cheese and soup was tasty, and the starters were not bad. My friends also loved their drinks! I would definitely recommend this place to others looking for an upscale meal in West Hartford!
I am glad we gave this place a second chance, after our initial visit right after it had opened. I'll chalk everything that happened during our first visit up to teething, and getting a new operation up and running, but every time we've been there since the service has been excellent, the food has been great, pizzas are very fresh tasting, the entrees always have that freshly prepared taste to them, and the restaurant is always very clean. They have some really great desserts here, and a nice wine selection. It's not the most inexpensive place, but it's reasonable for everything that you get. The one drawback is parking can be tricky in blue back, but that's not the fault of the restaurant
